If a charge applies, we will tell you before providing the information.

Personal information about you

If you are asking for personal information that the Council holds about you, this is normally dealt with as a Subject Access Request under data protection law rather than as a Freedom of Information request.

Please see our Privacy & Data Protection page for more information.

If you are unhappy with our response

If you are dissatisfied with the Council’s handling of your request, please contact us in the first instance and explain your concerns.

You may also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, which oversees Freedom of Information and data protection law in the UK.
