Content that may not be fully accessible
Some parts of this website may not yet fully meet accessibility standards.
These may include:
- older PDF documents that were created before the current website was developed
- scanned or historic documents that may not contain fully accessible text
- some third-party embedded content, such as Google Maps, which is outside the Council’s direct control
- older images that may not yet have complete alternative text
- documents supplied to the Council by other organisations
We are working to improve the accessibility of content as it is reviewed or replaced.
Where new documents are published, we aim to provide searchable and accessible PDFs wherever practical.
PDFs and other documents
Many Council documents, including agendas, minutes, reports and financial information, are published as PDF files.
We aim to ensure that newly created PDFs are:
- searchable rather than image-only scans
- structured clearly
- readable using common assistive technologies
- given meaningful filenames and link descriptions
Some historic documents may not meet these standards.
If you need a document in a different format, please contact us.
